Antler helps businesses maintain the controls that coordinate heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting and energy monitoring. We tailor periodic maintenance to the installed system, the building and the way it is used.

Checks that reflect your installation

Maintenance around your building.

The agreed visit scope depends on your installation. Relevant checks can include:

01

Energy profiles

Review available energy-use profiles for unusual patterns, changes in consumption and plant running outside the expected operating periods.

02

Timings and time clocks

Check operating timings, schedules and time-clock settings against the building's agreed hours and requirements.

03

Panels and electrical condition

Inspect control panels, controllers, power supplies, transformers, terminals and field wiring for visible defects, deterioration or signs of overheating.

04

Sensors and field devices

Check relevant sensor readings and investigate discrepancies, distinguishing faults in the sensor, field cable and controller input.

05

Communications and alarms

Check applicable controller and device communications, review alarms and investigate reported controls faults.

06

Plant operation and interfaces

Compare BMS commands with actual plant operation where practical. Check applicable lighting controls and permitted BMS interlocks, restoring systems afterwards.

07

Remote access and Niagara systems

Where relevant to the installation, check remote access and Niagara certificates alongside the wider system-health checks.

A record you can act on

Clear service records
and follow-up.

The service record separates checks completed, faults discovered, diagnostic work and repairs or adjustments carried out. It also identifies outstanding remedial work, recommendations and any work requiring another contractor. This gives your facilities team a clear record of what has been done and what still needs attention.

Taking on existing systems

Assessed first.
Supported by agreement.

We can consider maintaining BMS and BEMS installed by other companies after assessing the system. That assessment comes before accepting the maintenance scope, so the support arrangements reflect the actual installation.

Bureau service

Monitoring alongside
maintenance.

Where agreed, Antler's bureau service provides ongoing visibility of energy use, environmental conditions, operating schedules, alarms and faults. Historical trends and alerts can support maintenance planning and help explain changes in building performance. Bureau monitoring and its reporting scope are agreed with you.

UK coverage

One building.
Or a multi-site estate.

From one building to a multi-site estate, we discuss your system, operating needs and maintenance priorities before agreeing a suitable service arrangement.

Before you enquire

Your maintenance questions.

How often should our BMS be serviced?

The visit frequency and scope are agreed around your building and installed controls. Tell us about your existing system and maintenance arrangements so we can discuss a suitable plan.

Can you look after a system Antler did not install?

We can consider maintaining BMS and BEMS installed by other companies after assessing the system. That assessment comes before accepting the maintenance scope, so the support arrangements reflect the actual installation.

What happens if you find a fault?

We record the fault, the diagnostic work and any repairs or adjustments completed during the visit. Outstanding remedials and work requiring another contractor are identified separately, so you can see what still needs to be arranged.

Discuss your maintenance needs.

Tell us your site location, controls platform if known, and what you need help with.
